The Universal Reserve Controller Director (URCD) is Honeywell’s latest upgrade for installation in existing Basic (RCD) and Extended (RCDII) controller based UAC (Uninterruptible Automatic Control) systems. The new URCD can replace previously installed RCD and RCDII electronics or can be used in new installations .

• New URCD’s are ‘plug and play’ compatible with all previously installed controller PWAs being replaced.

• No modification of existing network/box configurations.

• Compatible with installed Uninterruptible Automatic Control (UAC) systems.

• New URCD is based on Motorola 68020 central processing unit (CPU) technology.

• 6 bit Error Detection and Correction (EDAC) URCD controller memory.

• CPU diagnostic routines are based on highly successful diagnostics used in other Honeywell controller products.

• Diagnostics not viewable through the Operator Station are viewable via PWA-level LED’s.
