Low Energy PIU MUX
The Low Energy PIU MUX box is the remote field termination and multiplexing assembly used with the low energy PIU. It consists of a termination board and a multiplexer relay board mounted in a NEMA 4 enclosure. The mux cards can be selected for either thermocouple or RTD input. Up to 16 mux boxes of up to 16 points each can be daisy-chained to a single LE PIU common card file.
Replacement relay and termination cards are available from WPC. We replace all of the relays on the mux cards with new relays, since these have a finite lifetime in the field.
